Brisbane policeman shot dead

No Australian cop should have to worry that they're going to get shot when they go to serve someone with a warrant. No ordinary citizen in the Australian community should have a gun. The 'right' of so-called sporting shooters to have a weekend wankfest of target shooting, the 'right' of anyone to supposedly 'defend their home' with a firearm, the 'right' of anyone to engage in hunting with a firearm for fun or occasional sustenance- none of these compare with the right of every human being to be free from the risk of being shot dead because some idiot has managed to get themselves a firearm, legally or otherwise.

Guns should be banned altogether in the broader Australian community.
