Looks like Queensland will be getting its first ever nude beach! Ever-progressive, we're the last state in Australia to get one. I've always wanted to go to a nude beach... I'm not entirely sure what the attraction is, and it's certainly nothing to do with the idea that everyone will look like Belladonna when in reality half of them will look like this...
Though I've got to say, that's a great photo... I hope to be embarrassing our grandkids similarly when I'm that age...
But it's definitely one of the things I want to tick off my life's 'to do' list. I doubt that nude beach swimming is something that will become a hobby, though. Imagine getting a bluebottle sting on some sensitive part- as if it isn't bad enough copping one on the arm or something. Yikes!

My only concern would be that if you go nude swimming, where does the sand go if it doesn't catch in the bottom of your togs? That sounds mildly painful to me!
I think it's the togs that are the problem, actually! They kind of keep the sand in that area with nowhere to go... at least nowhere you'd want it to go!

Haha Mikey... I don't think anyone really cares on a nude beach, and anyone who does shouldn't be there. Besides, when you think about it, not a whole lot more is on display on a nude beach than a regular beach anyway- just a few more square cm of skin, a nipple or two (for the girls) and possibly a few strands of hair, really!
Although in the case of us white non-practitioners of nude sunbathing the risk of getting some painful sunburn would be pretty high if you missed any bits with the sunscreen...
Amused by the Oz's use of the expression "tourist strip". LOL.
The only time my friend Sarah (no relation) has been to a nude beach (Alex. Bay) she almost got washed out to sea. I had visions of her getting washed up (dead or alive) on a Textile Beach.
Better her than me, I say! (She's got a much nicer bodd!)
