Shanklish/Shankleesh in Brisbane. Anyone?

Almost two years ago I posted about a great little deli that opened up not far from where we live. It was run by a young, muslim Lebanese Australian couple, and it was there that I first discovered shanklish (also spelled shankleesh). Shanklish is delicious stuff- it was stinky, spicy, complex and tasted simply amazing. Addictive.

But that little deli didn't last long, and now I have absolutely no idea where I can buy shanklish in Brisbane. I have hunted around for stores that look likely to stock the stuff, to no avail. I have serious shanklish cravings and no way to satisfy them... unless someone knows of a place in Brisbane that sells it. Or a place online that sells it. Or even a place in Sydney or Melbourne that would be willing to ship me a carton of the stuff! Shanklish is Syrian and Lebanese in origin, so if anyone can point me to any Lebanese or Syrian-run delis or food stores in Brisbane, or stores that stock a lot of Lebanese and/or Syrian foods, I will be in your debt forever. I would even be willing to shout you some shanklish, should I be lucky enough to find some :)

it might be worth calling NoNo's at Red Hill - 3369 5691. they sell a lot of Lebanese food. if they don't have it, they might be able to tell you where to find some.
