Well I suppose it was inevitable that I posted these here eventually, though much to my shame I've become more punctual in putting things on Facebook than on the blog. These were only taken a day or two before Christmas, however, so it's unlikely that I've ballooned much more in the mean time. Captions are second hand from FB because there's not really a whole lot to say!

Who ate all the pudding?? :-x

Gam Jr ate all the pudding...

6 months, +12kg... a 20% increase in body weight! And they say you're supposed to put on the most weight in the 3rd trimester... let's hope not, eh?

Not to worry, our new front door is very wide :-D

wow, I accidently forget to read peoples blogs for 6 months and look what happens! Congrats on the tummy monster! Can't wait to see cute photos when bub arrives. Congrats on the house, we looked at houses in Moorooka for awhile, such a great place to live so close to everything (but this was before the market crashed and at the time we couldn't find something we could afford). My brother (+wife + 4children) lives in Moorooka, so I'm over that way frequently (and they have "free range" guinea pigs if you were thinking of going that way again they're always bringing pregnant ones inside to the "birthing centre", could easily get you some little friends!). Anyway good luck with it all!

Thanks Bec :) We're really enjoying living here, it somehow manages to be nice and quiet and yet really convenient... When you say 'free range' guinea pigs do you mean cageless? That's pretty impressive, especially if they stay tame. I'm totally up for adopting another furry little composting machine in the future, but first we have to find $3500 for a fence... yikes!

Some of them live in a cage, and some of them live on the lawn, and when the ones on the lawn get pregnant, my niece catches them, puts them in the "birthing centre" cage inside and they have the babies inside. Good luck with the fence. Pretty sure all guinea pigs are free!
