Justice Is (Mostly) Blind

There is a difference between these two items.

Give one to your second cousin a year or so before his other cousin commits a terrorist crime in another country and you'll be locked up indefinitely without trial. Everyone will know what you look like and your life will be ruined as you're hounded by the press.

Steal the other and attempt to sell it to alleged terrorists in Sydney and you'll be charged with supplying, receiving and possessing a prohibited weapon. You won't be hounded, no one will even know what you look like.

This is because anti-terror laws are not applied in a racist manner. I'm sure if the man who allegedly stole rocket launchers and tried to sell them to known criminals, including suspected terrorists, was called Mohammed instead of Shane he'd be treated in exactly the same way. Thank goodness for that.

Cynicism is so unbecoming. Where is your faith in our unbiased legal system? Tsk tsk.
