There's one week left to get in and vote for Matt Mitcham for the SMH/Age/Colonial First State Sports Performer of the Year awards. Yes, there are other nominees, but Matt Mitcham is our official VTAY pinup boy. Plus his win, and his story, was one of the best of the 2008 Olympic games. Steph Rice has won enough shit already this year, including an $800 000 two-year contract with Channel 7, so get in there and do your bit to ensure that she doesn't win this too!
In addition, I believe you go in the draw for $5000 if you vote... so go and vote- for Matthew Mitcham!

Done!
Yeah! Now if he wins by one vote, we can say yours was the one that tipped it for him!
Woo hoo!
YAY! I've voted for him like for 6 times and even managed to get 2 votes from my younger brother, which is great, since he doesn't care much about the Olympics/Olympians, the bastard :P
I'm a foreigner (am from Peru) and I don't care about the money. I'm a huuuuuge Matt fan and just want him to win this award, he absolutely deserves it. SO PPL VOTE VOTE VOTE FOR MATTY NOW!! :DDD
And yes, I've had enough of Stephanie Rice as well :/
