Breathing space from bigotry
Raging bigot Fred Nile was at it again this week, indulging in a little mussie-bashing. Perhaps he's considering another tilt at a federal senate seat and thinks he can borrow some of John Howard's 2001 election tactics to get him there.
I've got a better proposal than Nile's- I think the government should arrange for a large cork or two to be plugged in whichever orifice of Mr Nile so freely flows with bile until a serious study can be undertaken to gauge the potential effects on the Australian community of high-profile individuals engaging in unabashed bigotry.
I couldn't put it any better than Nile himself- "Australians deserve a breathing space".

I think the Royal Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Corks might have something to say about that plan.
