Webcam suicide
Regardless of how dreadful this story in The Australian is, I don't think we can get around the fact that the people who were allegedly 'incited' to commit suicide were adults. Adults with problems, sure, but adults nonetheless. I'm not sure it's possible to convince someone who has no inclination to kill themselves to do the deed anyway. Suicide is much older than the internet.

suicide is horrible and sad and ruins lives. Certainly people make their own decision, but other people encouraging them I think just demonstrates how stupid and crap people can be.
Yep, true.
It's no different than dickheads on pavements yelling 'jump jump' though.
Not to mention that it was an 'insult chatroom'. I never even knew such things existed-it's bizarre.
