Keeping me in suspenders

Grades for semester 1 were supposed to be released on July 2, and I've been checking every couple of days since. Getting a bit nervous, I asked my supervisor a couple of days ago if he knew my grades yet. He said he'd look into it.

This evening I got an email notification of a grade update. Filled with relief, I hurried to check my grades, only to find out that only one of the two grade was up. And it was the one I was fairly sure I'd done well in, not the one that contained the rush-job of a research proposal whose grade I'm a bit antsy about. I got a high distinction for the literature review, which is great, but I need at least a credit for the other subject in order to be on track keeping my options open regarding a PhD scholarship next year. I mean, if I was going to fail the research proposal component I wish they'd at least let me know. It's getting on for 3 weeks past the due date for marks to be in, for chrissakes!
