This from unpo.org on the 6th of October, reported in the Independent yesterday and the SMH today: China shot dead at least one young Tibetan nun out of a group of people fleeing Tibet for Nepal. The Independent has more information today:
The nun who was killed, Kelsang Namtso, 17, was leading the children. A 13-year-old boy was also gunned down during 15 minutes of shooting witnessed by Western climbers, including two British policemen, 1,000 yards away at Cho Oyu camp.
That's alright though. I'm sure Alexander will pay the usual lip service to human rights when he next meets with Chinese politicians, and they will smile and privately tell him to fuck off because of our own fairly shitty human rights record. And then we'll go back to selling them all the things they like to buy. Perhaps they'd be interested in a shipload of lead, for more bullets?

And we're selling them uranium...
I wonder how many cut price shot to order organs we get for that?
