Does Iran have Trucks of Mass Destruction too?I wonder, with all this buzz about the US making war on Iran, coming up with 'evidence' that Iran has/wants nuclear weapons etc. etc., why no-one is pointing to the US case for initiating its disastrous war on Iraq, and the lies that the Bush administration told about Iraq being in possession of nuclear weapons in order to gain public and international support. Have we such short memories?

Oh I don't doubt Iran is trying for nukes. Why wouldn't it? Having nukes levels the playing field against the US and Israel, the US possessing about 14,000 warheads, and Israel conservative estimate of around 300. The estimate for Iran's capability will probably be ... six.
Furthermore the idea that they will then pass these 'nukes' onto terrorists is a falacy. One they're enriched uranium which means the missiles/bombs are difficult to transport (but not impossible). Two Iran can't trust terror groups not to have their own agenda with said bomb. Three Israel is environmentally past of the mid east. If you drop a nuke on it fall out crosses borders. And Four even if they did give it to a terror group geographic science can evaluate a blast and find out where the uranium that made it came from.
Iran is seeking to end a major military gap with the US and Israel. And it is the US's failed policies of missile defense shields and disregard to the international community that has fostered proliferation.
Iran's not to blame for this situation. Bush and his cronies are.
I don't doubt Iran is trying for nukes either- it's their only sensible option. Look where not having nukes got Iraq...
