Custard Apples

I can think of two good things about Autumn (three if you count the lovely weather Brisbane has been having over the last month or so): persimmons and custard apple, both going cheap at the chinese convenience store on Sir Fred Schonell drive. At Fruity Capers in Toowong, persimmons are priced at 2 for $3, or $1.99 each, while custard apples are priced at $1.99 each (or $10/kg). The chinese store has both persimmons and custard apple at $4.99 per kg. Not hard to guess what I've been stocking up on every time I go there!
