'Puffy' the bashed tree frog.Only a week after we rescued a green tree frog from the road in our neighbourhood, another green tree frog in Queensland is fighting for its life because- get this- a bunch of dickheaded teenagers mistook it for a cane toad and kicked it almost to death before someone rescued it. How on earth anyone, let alone a Queenslander, could mistake a green tree frog for a cane toad is beyond me. Perhaps we're being charitable and really those yobs just felt like being cruel to something, and when they got caught out they covered their arses by claiming they thought it was a cane toad. Even for Nerang's biggest low-lives, I find it hard to believe that any of them could really be that stupid and that ignorant.
Disgusting.
