Get this: currently, members of Hillsong and other nutjob evangelical churches are allowed to get divorced if their partner has sex with someone else, but not if their partner beats them.
Now, the nutjobs are poised to make a concession. Some spousal abuse is ok, but 'serious' physical abuse may be grounds for divorce.
Got to love those priorities!

Breathtaking isn't it? These people have such a distorted view of Christianity that it sickens me. Christ was about helping others as much as belief in him for eternal life. He spent far more time for example talking about the poor than marital relations and making fucking money. And I hardly think he ever ended a sermon by saying 'The papyrus of this sermon is available in the gift shop after the show. Also, check out my Jesus Wealth guide to getting rich.'
